The United Valley Interfaith Project (UVIP) is a federation of congregations, supporting faith organizations and community organizations that have come together to work for the common good of our region–the central Connecticut River Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont.
We aim to build a stronger region by deepening ties between our communities, developing the leadership gifts of our members and tackling systemic issues which impede justice and a good quality of life for all residents.

UVIP has a new full time Lead Organizer/Staff Director, Leah Torrey. Leah began organizing in Wayland, Massachusetts with the Wayland Interfaith Clergy Association as an intern while at Harvard Divinity School. She was Lead Organizer in Kern County, California with Faith In Action an organizing project within the PICO network. She has experience work on issues ranging from local parks and code compliance to healthcare and education. Leah has a Master’s in Divinity from Harvard Divinity School where she studied modern American religious movements. She is very thankful for this new opportunity to work with leaders across the Valley and put her education, experience and love for working with people of faith into practice!
